According to the Trilogy® Life website, “The Algarve, is named after a region in southwestern Portugal first introduced to the world through the 1974 novel The Drifters by Pulitzer Prize-winning author James Michener. In the book, the Algarve represents a place of escape and creative inspiration, and our club will do the same.” Sounds like paradise!

Meet Patti + Michael on Harmony Way at Encanterra®
These two understand the meaning of the word “downsizing.” After living in their Ahwatukee home for almost 20 years, they decided that the Genova plan was perfect! Shea Preferred Realty had the pleasure of helping them sell their Phoenix home over the summer. Their love story started when Michael and his four children were sitting in church and they heard the voice of an angel. Patti was singing as the church soloist. Michael’s children loved hearing her sing and the pair fell in love! This year they are celebrating their 22nd wedding anniversary. They love to travel and recently spent last summer on a USA road trip. They stopped in North Carolina and spent some extra time visiting their four adorable grandchildren. One of Patti’s favorite places to visit is Paris, France, where Michael recently took her to celebrate her 60th birthday. When they are not traveling, Michael loves to show off his talents in the kitchen. He is a gourmet chef at heart and loves to make Italian or any type of cuisine for friends and family. When Patti is not singing at church she loves to perform in musical theater. Before his retirement, Michael was with the Phoenix Fire Department for 32 years. He retired as Fire Captain and has many wonderful stories to share about his career. Patti’s passion for work was in education. She taught for 19 years then spent the next 15 years as an administrator in the Cartwright Elementary School District. She retired as an elementary school principal. They are looking forward to their new adventure at Encanterra® and taking their sweet Yorkie, Triscuit, on walks around the community! Welcome Patti and Michael to the “Good Life!”
