Don and Nancy have been living the “Good Life” at Encanterra since 2015. Shea Preferred Realty Group helped them find a gorgeous resale home – a Refresh plan that fits them perfectly! Nancy had no idea what she was missing before they made Encanterra their home. They love the social life this community gives them and wished they would have done it sooner.

Don and Nancy’s love story started about 25 years ago. They met in Farmington, Michigan and it was love at first sight. Their first conversation was very amusing– The next time you see them around the community, ask them about their first few words; it was very ironic! This December will be their 25th wedding anniversary and they’re planning a trip to Vegas to celebrate! They have 4 grown children and 3 grandchildren, and most of their family lives back in Michigan and Georgia.

For many years they enjoyed vacationing in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. They then decided it was time to in invest in Arizona real estate, as they love the sunshine and lifestyle that Arizona offers. Plus, they don’t miss the cold Michigan winters. Don has been retired since 2005. He worked as a mechanical contractor in Detroit for most of his life. Nancy retired just a year after Don and was a social worker.

They love to travel and recently took a trip to Europe last summer. When they are not traveling or visiting family, you’ll find Don and Nancy, along with their adorable little pup named Lucky, taking full advantage of the community. Thanks for being a part of the “Good Life,” Don, Nancy, and Lucky!
