Gary and Linda are originally from Great Falls, Montana. In recent years, they started to explore the possibility of moving to Arizona but had never heard of Encanterra®. Last year, while Gary was boarding his Allegiant flight out of Great Falls on his way to Phoenix, he ran into an old friend, Channing Hartelius. Channing has lived at Encanterra® for many years and insisted they check it out before they made a decision. During their first visit to the community, Gary and Linda were introduced to the Shea Preferred Team and found a beautiful resale St. Tropez plan with an amazing backyard space— it is a perfect fit for them and now they’re loving life at Encanterra®!
Gary and Linda met just over 30 years ago when they were working at a hospital in Great Falls. Gary was an internal medicine doctor and Linda was a nurse. Gary still works on a part-time basis for the hospital and Linda is now retired. Together they have 7 children and 10 grandchildren. This month they will be celebrating their 30 year wedding anniversary. When they got married they were not able to take a honeymoon, so a few years ago they planned their dream honeymoon to Scotland. While they were in Scotland they attended the British Open and even got a round of golf in at the famous St. Andrew’s golf course.
Gary loves to ride his bike each morning around the community. Linda is looking forward to joining the Pickleball club and learning more about the game. They are both avid basketball fans and have attended the NCAA championship games for the past 15 years. Welcome to the “Good Life,†Gary and Linda! Shea Preferred was proud to help you find your Encanterra® home!
